Whether or not you’re interested in new jack everyman rappers, the skit at the beginning of the video is as instantly like-able as a sportscenter commercial. via @the_bg

Eugene Mirman’s AWESOME commencement speech for his alma mater, Hampshire College, from last month – he mostly tells the story of his awesome-sounding experience at Hampshire. Sidenote: went to see Mirman taping his Comedy Central special at the Fillmore last week, and it was great. He’s great. Everything is great.

This video doesn’t have a whole lot to do with adulthood, it’s a song about how Danny Brown knew he was going to be dope when he was a kid, BUT Danny Brown is one of my favorite new rappers. If you’re not up on him, his album XXX (pronounce “30″), that came out last year was filled with original, funny songs about his dark childhood and his pretty awesome life now. Anyways, this is an awesome music video. It successfully bites the Spike Jonze video for Biggie’s “Sky’s the Limit”, casting an adorable kid to play Brown. AND it re-creates the bike accident that knocked out Brown’s front teeth. It’s just a good video for today.

“29 vs 31″, by Garfunkel & Oates, who are awesome. Warning: this is hilarious but will probably terrify most women who read this blog. #sogladimaman. (via Splitsider).

“The Ghostbusters tour of New York,” brought to you by some nerds trying to relive their childhood fantasies of being the Ghostbusters.

If there’s one thing we approve of here at yr an adult, it’s adults reliving their childhood fantasies.

Video: Ze Frank tries to inspire you/himself

This is the first video in Ze Frank’s new webseries, composed as a video poem, an invocation for someone who hasn’t begun the thing they’re trying to start. For him, it’s this series. And if you don’t know who Ze Frank is, he’s the first guy to ever really videoblog. And he recently announced he was coming back, do it again, raising $150,000 in a couple of days on kickstarter. Anyways, I thought this was nice.
