Tomorrow morning, at 6 am, I leave on day-long, cramped journey for Europe, from which I won’t return for half a month. That’s right. Two weeks in two of the finest cities the old world has to offer. And as such, I have a ton of stuff to get done before leaving. So, instead of writing a retread post today, or just blowing it off, I’m publicly announcing my last minute to-do list. My favorite forms of procrastination are the ones that feel productive.
Boning up on French. Well. Not really. I might listen to that song from Guru’s first Jazzmatazz CD with MC Solaar a couple times (If you know what song I’m talking about, you are my kind of person).
Renting a bunch of stupid movies on iTunes to watch during the plane rides. While other, more cultured travelers might look to literature or writing for their time kills, I plan on watching movies. And not movies that are actually good, mind you. I’m gonna watch the movies that I’d be embarrassed to tell people I saw without being able to add the caveat “but I watched it on the plane” (I probably won’t mention that I planned in advance to BRING them on said plane with the explicit intention of watching them). Look out Contraband, Safe House, and The Sitter - I am coming for your asses.
