Like a coke dealer telling you not to do TOO much coke…

….at a talk yesterday in Montreal, Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter was quoted as saying spending too much time on Twitter was “unhealthy.” Kind of obvious, that furiously checking other peoples statuses and updating your own isn’t the best thing for your mental health, but it’s somewhat striking to hear that Stone would admit as much. It’d be hard to imagine Steve Jobs saying you shouldn’t spend so much time on your iPhone or Mark Zuckerberg suggesting you get off FB once in a while. Hopefully, Stone doesn’t get blog-ecuted for keeping it real.

Someday, this divorced guy could be you

That is, assuming you some day get married, then get divorced, already have TONS of money, and hire this interior decorator that specializes in divorced dudes to expensively decorate your bachelor/single-dad pad. Also, assumes that you will have made it through life without developing any taste or the ability to spend your own money or make your own choices. Let’s all decide not to be this guy when we grow up, ok? (except for the part about having TONS of money)

A few reasons why you shouldn’t be jealous of the Facebook graffiti artist guy

One of the most frequently reported human interest narratives around the news of Facebook’s impending IPO has been the story of graffiti artist David Choe. To those who missed the story, Choe was hired by Facebook to paint murals in their Palo Alto office in 2005. In lieu of receiving $60,000 for his work, Choe opted to take stock, stock which is now estimated to be worth half a billion dollars. Excuse me. HALF A BILLION DOLLARS!!!!! (There’s more on the story here)

Now, your natural inclination may be to say, “Half a billion dollars? Why does this guy get half a billion dollars? I want half a billion dollars! I could buy a house in the center of the city, get a whole cool new wardrobe and take time off to travel. And I’d totally donate a bunch of it to charity, because I’m, like, a super good person.”

Let’s all be bummed this guy’s ex-wife is making him dismantle his Star Trek themed house

That’s right, dude’s wife leaves him, they have to sell their apartment and she wants to sell it as a “conventional apartment”. It’s just a bum deal for bro, he thought he found a woman who understood him and his passion for Star Trek. Now he doesn’t have a wife OR a Star Trek apartment. Real bum deal. More pictures after the jump.

Why can’t you be more like this guy: Dancing Traffic Cop From The Phillipines

First off, Let me just say I hope the above video is for real, because if it’s not, well, then that means I am naive enough to believe that in the Philippines, a traffic cop pulling out a pretty credible set of MJ-inspired dance moves to direct cars through a busy intersection is a possible thing. And I don’t want to be naive. But I also want to believe this isn’t some viral prank (those Phillipinos love their viral dance pranks) because the idea that someone could merge what they love (DANCING!) with what they have to do (their job) is just so inspiring to me. So even though, there’s a good chance this is super hoax, I still am choosing to believe/post it. Let’s all take a moment to be inspired by this guy. Ok? Cool. Thanks.
